What is Cellebrite Mobile Forensics Training?
Cellebrite launched its first official certification class at the 2013 Mobile Forensic World conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The Cellebrite Forensic Training System (CFTS) established a standardized, relevant and current curriculum to deliver the appropriate level of knowledge and practical experience.
Students attending our certification courses receive instruction by a Cellebrite Certified Instructor (CCI) who has the requisite “real-world” mobile, forensic, investigative, and case/evidentiary handling experience.
Depending on the course, students achieve certification (certificate of proficiency) only after achieving a passing score of 80% or better on knowledge and practical assessments. For details about certifications and assessments visit our information pages About Cellebrite Certifications and the Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner Certification Process.
Instruction is available via a variety of formats including Onsite Instructor-Led, Live Online, or Online On-Demand learning formats. Regardless of which option you choose, you will receive the same curriculum that leads to the same distinguished Cellebrite certifications.
Instructor-Led Training (ILT)
Cellebrite is the world leader in digital forensics Instructor Led Training with Cellebrite Certified Instructors available to teach in five languages around the world. We understand the importance of delivering high-quality training by expert instructors who have worked criminal and civil cases. ILT is and will remain a cornerstone of our mobile forensic training program.
Live Online Training (LOT)
Cellebrite offers some classes as a Live Online Training (LOT) learning environment. Students participating in LOT classes will remotely control a forensic workstation and interact with a Cellebrite Certified Instructor in real time. The LOT version of our programs is not self-paced. Students must adhere to a set schedule and complete all course activities within the time allotted, and have a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Online On-Demand Training,
Cellebrite’s industry standard certification training is also available in an Online On-Demand format. Also known as Web-Based Training (WBT), this is a great option for those students who are unable to travel, take time away from work, or simply prefer online learning - on their schedule.
Important Deadlines to Complete Online Courses
Effective October 1, 2019
Students who enroll in online, on-demand training classes will have 45 days from the time of enrollment to complete this course and any associated examinations. Enrollments begin immediately upon a course voucher being consumed.
You can refer to the Enrollment Period block on the left to determine the actual number of days remaining for this enrollment.
If you are unable to complete the course within that timeframe, you can be granted a single 15-day extension.
To request an extension to their Online,on-demand class, a student must:
- Log in to their account at www.cellebritelearningcenter.com.
- Click into the online, on-demand class in question from their Record of Learning.
- Look at the top left corner of the course where they will see a button titled "Request Extension."
- Information related to their request will be displayed.
- The single, 15-day extension will be granted within 24 hours.
If a requested 1st extension is not granted, the student may contact Training Support by completing the Training Center Support form at this link.
Sufficient time has been allotted to complete this on-demand course. Therefore, a student’s work or personal schedule is not an acceptable excuse for non-completion by the end of the enrollment period.
After 60 calendar days, regardless of whether you have requested your extension already, Cellebrite will consider this training as being delivered and will not be eligible for a refund.
Exceptions to the 15-day extension rule
Learners who are still unable to complete the course successfully after their 15-day extension may apply for an additional extension by submitting a support form.
The submission must describe the circumstances in detail, whether they be technical or scheduling difficulties.
Anyone experiencing technical difficulties must submit a support request prior to their initial 45-day access period expiring to be eligible for extensions. This can be submitted by opening the Contact Us menu and selecting Technical Support Inquiry.
An additional extension being granted DOES NOT constitute justification for expecting a refund. For those learners who were already enrolled prior to October 1, 2019:
